Hand Carry Donation Program

To help expand access to under-resourced areas, Direct Relief provides donations of medical resources to teams of healthcare providers and volunteers traveling overseas to provide medical care to medically underserved communities. Medical teams must be invited explicitly by their hosts and demonstrate a solid and long-term commitment to partnership. Donations are shipped free of charge within the United States and hand-carried by trip volunteers to the destination country.
